ABOUT
Praetorius Publications
Praetorius Publications is a music publishing company which endeavors to provide quality classical literature from the church historic as well as recent compositions by active church composers at an affordable price for Christian churches and schools. Initial repertoire consists of accessible quality choral literature from the church historic as well as recent compositions by active church composers. Music for organ, voice, instrumental ensembles, etc. will be added as the company grows. Most of our offerings are only available in download format to aid in keeping costs low and to allow for expedient acquisition of the scores. While historic editions are kept at a low cost, we desire to offer respectable prices for our living composers to encourage them in their livelihood. The company is co-owned and run by Dr. David Erb (New Saint Andrews College) and Joshua Roberts (Trinity Reformed Church) in Moscow, ID.

ABOUT
Michael Praetorius
Michael Praetorius (1571-1621) was one of the most important Christian musicians in the history of the Church. The Protestant German Lutheran organist and Kapellmeister was not only a prolific composer, but he also wrote extensively about music in its theory and practice. Additionally, he published his own music as well as that of other musicians. His vast output was in the context and service of the Christian Church, its worship, and community. His Musae Sioniae (1200+ liturgical compositions) and Syntagma Musicum (3 volume music encyclopedia) are his most notable publications along with his compendium of dance music, Terpsichore.
